Service Activities

Not Ashamed
Students may opt to take Not Ashamed in place of a theology course. Planning the weekly Chapel services and helping when requested at neighboring Churches and/or schools are among their responsibilities. Members of this class often write original skits and provide music for the chapels.

Mission Projects
In the summer of 1999, Mr. Haynal and a group of LHSLV students took a 10 day trip to Tijuana, Mexico, to help construct shelters and assist the local people in a variety of ways. This year, LHSLV students donated over 12,000 food items which will stock Pomona First Lutheran's food pantry for a year.
